SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Our aim is to despatch Goods as soon as possible, if you need goods for a specific time or date please contact us to arrange this or use the next day delivery option. Next day delivery and 48 hour services refers to the delivery time only and applies when goods are despatched from Us. We will send Your order on a tracked 48 hour (depending on value of order) delivery with Hermes or by a private courier, currently DPD. At checkout, the site will default to the cheapest shipping option for you, you can use the drop down menu to select other available shipping options which may include next day delivery or a courier service.

UK DELIVERY

On standard orders under 2kg we use Hermes, and although on the whole, parcels arrive within this 48 hour window, we are at the mercy of Hermes and cannot guarantee this. For heavier and more expensive orders we use a courier service so goods will be dispatched the next/same day for delivery the following day. At present we use DPD for all courier services. Heavier goods to Northern Island, Highland and Islands are generally sent by Hermes as we have found this to be the most cost effective and efficient service.

Deliveries will generally require a signature as proof of delivery, so if you’re not in and there is no one to leave the Goods with, you may be asked to collect the Order from your local collection office in the case of Royal Mail, or Your nearest depot in the case of a private courier. If DPD have tried to deliver and no one was available at the delivery address, they may try and deliver to a neighbour, if you do not want this please state so in the comments box at the time of ordering. Failing delivery to a neighbour, DPD will leave a calling card with instructions on how to re-arrange delivery. If you have provided your e-mail address you will receive an e-mail from DPD that will include a unique link so that you can track the progress of your order. If you have entered your mobile phone number into the site you may also receive a text message with delivery information.

Delivery charges are based on the weight of Your Order and the delivery address that you give when You place Your Order. We can change the delivery address up to the point when the item is despatched, after that point it cannot be changed. Please see our terms and conditions for further information.

The delivery times are given to Us in good faith and are not legally binding. Please also note that certain postcodes do unfortunately incur an extra delivery day.

 

 

CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS

If for any reason You wish to cancel Your Order with Us please send an e-mail to info@yumcars.co.uk. We can cancel the Order at any time so long as the Goods haven’t been despatched.

In the event that Your Order has been despatched You can return the Goods within 7 working days. The Goods must be returned in their perfect, un-opened condition and sealed in their original packaging. The costs of returning Goods to Us will be met by You. When We receive the Goods We will authorise a refund. We will refund for the cost of the Goods only.

The Goods will remain Your responsibility until they have been safely delivered to Us. We strongly advise that you insure the Goods and get proof of posting in case of loss or damage.
