YumCars® offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this Site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices contained herein.
By visiting our Site, making a booking and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of the Site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before accessing or using our website or booking tool. By accessing or using any part of the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to all the Terms & Conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services.
Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms & Conditions. You can review the most current version of the Terms & Conditions at any time on this page. YumCars® reserves the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms & Conditions by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Our store is hosted by Feedbackfans.com who provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
By agreeing to these Terms, you represent when placing an order with us, you are (i) offering to purchase a product with us, (ii) representing that you are of legal ages to form a binding contract and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site and, (iii) representing that all information you provide to us in connection with such order is true and accurate and you are the authorised user of the payment method provided. The receipt by you of an order does not constitute our acceptance of an order. We retain the right to refuse any order request made by you.
Prior to our acceptance of an order, verification of information may be required. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept, modify or decline your order, or any proportion thereof, even after your receipt of an order confirmation by us, for any reason whatsoever. You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
Any breach or violation of any of these Terms contained herein will result in an immediate termination of your Services.
The following sets out the Terms & Conditions upon which we supply products to you. Where you are buying products as a consumer, nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your legal rights, and we have a legal duty to supply products that conform to the contract between us. We care about our customers and know that your privacy is important to you. This Privacy Notice is our way of telling you how we collect your information, why we need it, and how we use it.

If you provided your consent, we will send you marketing communications by email to keep you informed of new products, promotions, and other information we think may be of interest to you. In compliance with applicable law, we will also send you marketing communication per email if you have purchased a product from us and have not unsubscribed from receiving marketing emails. We may also send you marketing communication per postal mail.
You can stop receiving marketing messages from us at any time through your preferences or by contacting us at email@example.com. To stop direct marketing messages, you can also click on the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email you receive from us. Once you do this, we will update your profile to ensure that you do not receive further marketing messages from us. Please note that it may take up to 48 hours to process your request and update our systems. Note that if you request that we stop sending you marketing messages, we will not stop sending you administrative and services communications (such as order updates and other important or transactional information).
Please note that if you use more than one name or email address when communicating with us, you may continue to receive communications from us to any name or email address not specified in your opt-out request.
We may at times also engage in online behavioural advertising to enhance your experience and show you products that might interest you. Like many companies, we and our advertising partners display tailored interest-based advertising using information you make available to us when you interact with our sites, content, or services. Interest-based ads, also sometimes referred to as personalised or targeted ads, are displayed to you based on information from activities such as searching or purchasing on the Site, visiting sites that contain our content or ads, interacting with our tools, or using our payment services. - Our Security Measures
We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information from unauthorised use, disclosure, and loss. Data transmitted to YumCars® is encrypted using secure third-party providers. We have an SSL Certificate which protects your sensitive personal and credit card information. If you have questions about the security of your information, please contact us.
We encourage you to protect your password and your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account. Remember to sign out of your account and close your browser window if you are using a shared computer in a public place such as a library or an internet cafe.
- Keeping Your Information
When we no longer need to keep your information, we will either delete it from our systems or anonymise it so that it no longer identifies you.
- Your Rights
Where you are buying products as a consumer, nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your legal rights, and we have a legal duty to supply products that conform to the contract between us. We do our best to ensure that the information on our site is complete, accurate and current. Despite our efforts, however, information on the site may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. All specifications, products, descriptions and prices of products on the site are subject to change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any products or services on the site at any time. We reserve the right to limit the number of items ordered and refuse service placed for the incorrect price, regardless of whether the order is being or has been processed. If payment has already been made or if your account has already been charged for the purchase and the order is cancelled, we will credit your account in the amount of the incorrect price.
We will make all reasonable efforts to accurately display the attributes of our products, including the applicable colours, however, the actual colour you see may vary depending on your computer system or media device and we cannot guarantee that your computer or media device will accurately display such colours. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the information, content or materials provided through the site.
Your data is stored through WooCommerce databases who store your data behind a firewall.
Our store allows buyers to use various forms of payment such as credit and debit cards, gift cards, credit, bank transfers and PayPal. In agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, you are also agreeing to the Terms & Conditions of any third-party services who are ensuring the secure handling of your credit card information.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, your card data will be stored. Your purchase transaction data is only stored as long as necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After completion, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.
The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
- Shipping & Delivery
Typical methods and costs of delivery are as shown under your shipping boot and are confirmed at checkout. DPD next day delivery is only eligible to customers based in the UK and orders must be placed by 3pm.
You will receive an estimation time/date for delivery via SMS and/or email, and we will endeavour to deliver any products ordered within the estimated period.
Delivery may be delayed due to circumstances outside of our control. If this occurs, we will notify you as soon as possible and take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. We shall have no liability for delays.
In the event of a failed delivery to you, our courier may re-attempt delivery, leave your delivery with a neighbour or in a safe place outside of your home or leave you a card or contact you to re-arrange delivery. You will be responsible for the products from the time we deliver the products to you at the stipulated delivery address. You will own a product once we have received payment in full for that product. Any charges as a result of any failed deliveries that have incurred, or due to any package being returned to us will be your responsibility.
We will be happy to replace for free of charge, any goods damaged in transit provided that we receive written notification of such damage within two days of delivery. Goods received in a damaged or unsatisfactory condition must be returned to us at the customers expense for inspection.
- Intellectual Property
This site and all of its materials, including, but not limited to, it’s software or HTML code, scripts, text, artwork, photographs, images, video and audio (collectively “Materials”) are protected by copyright laws and other UK and international laws and treaties and are property of YumCars®. All materials are provided through the site as a service to its current and prospective visitors and may only be used only for personal and informational purposes and only if you also retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained on the Materials. No right, title or interest in YumCars® is conveyed to you. You may not copy, reproduce, publish, transmit, distribute, perform, display, post, modify, create derivative works from, sell, license or otherwise exploit the site or any of its Materials without our prior written permission; you may not access or use this site for any competitive or commercial purpose; nor may you permit any copying of our Materials. Any unauthorised copying, alteration, distribution, transmission, performance, display, or other use of these materials is prohibited. Any and all rights not expressly granted are reserved by YumCars®, as applicable.
YumCars® owns all rights including its Trademarks in metatags and/or hidden text. Specifically, the use of our Trademarks in metatag keywords is Trademark infringement, and the use of our Trademarks in page text, metatags, and/or hidden text purposes of gaining higher rankings from search engines is unfair competition. Linking any web page on the site is prohibited absent our express written permission. Associating or juxtaposing our site or its Materials (e.g., through framing or inline linking) with advertisements and/or other information not originating from our site is prohibited.
- Disclaimer of Liability & Warranties
This disclaimer of liability applies to any loss, liability, damage or injury caused by any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay of operation or transmission, computer virus, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, alteration of, or use of record, whether breach of contract, tortious behaviour, negligence, or under any other cause of action.
You specifically acknowledge that YumCars® are not liable for the defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of other customers or third parties and that risk of injury from the foregoing rests entirely with customers.
Neither the service nor any of its agents, affiliates, directors, employees, distributors, affiliates or content providers shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, liability, damage or injury arising out of use of the service or inability to gain access to or use the service or out of any breach of any warranty. Customers hereby acknowledge that the provisions of this section shall apply to all content on the service and we do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the service is at your sole risk.
Under no circumstances shall YumCars® be liable for any loss, liability or damage whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential, personal injury or expense of any nature which may be suffered by the customer.
- External Third-Party Links & Tools
We may provide you with access to third-party tools over which we neither monitor nor have any control nor input.
You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, representations or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement. We shall have no liability whatsoever arising from or relating to your use of optional third-party tools.
Any use by you of optional tools offered through the site is entirely at your own risk and discretion and you should ensure that you are familiar with and approve of the terms on which tools are provided by the relevant third-party provider(s).
We may also, in the future, offer new services and/or features through the website (including, the release of new tools and resources). Such new features and/or services shall also be subject to these Terms.
- Cancellation Policy
You have certain rights to cancel your order or service as set out in our Returns Policy.
Your rights depend upon what you have bought or booked, the reason for your return of any goods and when you decide to cancel your order.
We may contact you by phone, email or SMS to confirm or schedule any order, provide information about your order and to conduct a customer satisfaction survey after placing an order. In the event of a cancelled order, we may call you to enquire about your reasons for cancelling.
Your name, phone number, address and order details will be shared with us and/or our marketing platforms and we may ask you where you heard about YumCars® in order to gauge our marketing strategies.
Any charges from your phone provider as a result of a telephone call or SMS will not be responsible for by us. All inbound and outbound customer service calls may be recorded for quality assurance.
- Gift Cards
Gift Certificates can only be used once per vehicle per service or per sale and they must be used to their full value when used.
Gift certificates cannot be combined or redeemed with additional promotions or discounts.
Gift certificates reflect a cash value. Prices for services or goods may adjust due to seasonality, inflation, or demand.
Additional charges will apply to the redeemer if they choose a package that exceeds the cash value of their gift certificate.
Any balances for services ordered are due at time of service are inclusive of VAT.
After 12 months of non-use, the gift certificate is non-redeemable.
- Loyalty Reward Scheme
Loyalty points are only redeemable at our website online and are not redeemable for cash. They exclude all shipping charges. You must be logged in for them to be awarded to your account.
1 point will be rewarded to you for every five pence spent. For every 20 points you collect, this will be equal to the value of one pound.
YumCars® reserves the right to cancel and/or amend the loyalty reward scheme at any time without notice.
- 20. Return & Cancellation Policy
If you had a change of mind, you can cancel your order at any time that same day before 3pm and a full refund will be given.
If for whatever reason you are not satisfied with our products, you can return them for a full refund within 7 days of delivery.
Some items cannot be returned, including:
- YumCars® Gift Certificates
- Any used or opened products
Please note that you are responsible for the costs of returning items. If you choose for us to arrange for them to be collected and/or shipped, the return shipping charge can vary between £4.99 and £14.99 for small parcel courier services and from £20.00 and £50.00 for large parcel courier services. This cost will be deducted directly from your refund.
- Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, we can replace these items or parts at no cost. Simply contact us to let us to let us know within 48 hours of receiving your order. We may ask you to send us a picture of the damaged item for own inspection and records.
- Refund Methods
We will refund the item’s price and the return shipping cost will automatically be deducted. You can choose between two refund methods.
1) Receive a refund as Store Credit.
After we receive the item(s) back from you, we’ll credit your YumCars® account within 1 business day.
2) Receive a refund to your original payment method, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
We’ll process your refund within 3-5 business days after we receive the item(s) back.
- Refund & Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be given for any booking/detailing service within a minimum of 72 hours’ notice. Failure to provide notice will result in a minimum charge of 25% of the service cost.
Failure to attend for an appointment on the day of the service will result in the full value of the service being charged. We reserve the right to 25% service cost if a booking is cancelled within 72 hours without prior agreement and full payment if a booking is cancelled on the day without prior agreement.
- Booking Reservations
As a confirmation of booking, a deposit of £100 is taken to secure the reservation (only for full correction or enhancement details). This deposit is non-refundable, and it will go towards the overall cost of your service.
We have permission to hold a debit or credit card to secure a regular booking and we will charge the card following any booking.
We reserve the right to take a debit or credit card details to secure the booking. Debit/Credit cards shall be processed by Stripe.com.
Our detailing times are an estimate only as each vehicle is different and may require more or less time to fulfil the detailing type. Whilst every effort will be made to keep bookings to the same time and date, sometimes it may be necessary to make these changes, but we will endeavour to communicate any changes prior to arrival.
YumCars® reserves the right to alter or amend a booking time/date without penalty but the customer will be notified.
We reserve the right to alter or move a booking in accordance to its staff levels, weather conditions and/or equipment failure without penalty to the company.
If any problems with the vehicle occur that are out of our control whilst in our care, such as a flat tyre, flat battery etc, it will be your responsibility to fix the problem. If any delay is caused by any such issues, we reserve the right to re-arrange your booking to prevent any further delay with subsequent bookings.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel our services to anyone at any time and/or deny customer demands above and beyond the booked detailing package.
We reserve the right to charge a debit or credit card the full amount should the vehicles(s) not be available for detailing and the booking has not been cancelled in advance (please see Cancellation Policy).
All orders placed require package and vehicle condition verification prior to any detailing work commencing.
Customers are advised to remove all personal belongings, money and other significant items from their vehicle prior to any type of detailing. We will not accept any liability for any loss or damage to any personal property which includes the vehicle being detailed or to the location of service. Any vehicle that is left parked outside before the arrangement of a service commencing will be left at the customer’s own risk.
Please be assured that your vehicle is being serviced in a lawful and safe area.
- Disclaimer of Liability
All vehicles are left at the customer’s own risk and must be able to withstand normal cleaning processes. Please be assured that your vehicle is being kept in a safe and secure unit.
All prices quoted on our website and booking tool are inclusive of VAT.
We reserve the right to charge each vehicle according to its condition, the type and size and amend any price accordingly during the detailing process, should it differ from the original estimate.
A surcharge may be applied that involves excessive pet hair, urine, vomit, blood, faeces, or other hazardous materials.
YumCars® reserve the right to charge an hourly rate of £60 (or proportion thereof) for any vehicle which is not collected within the boundaries of the booking unless otherwise agreed.
A daily rolling charge of £100 will apply for any vehicle that is not collected within 24 hours of completion and needs to be stored within our premises unless agreed otherwise. This charge will also apply if a customer chooses to stop their arranged service before completion and fails to collect their vehicle that same day of their cancellation.
- 29. Communications
We may contact you by phone, email and/or SMS to confirm or schedule your booking request, provide information about the detail and to conduct a customer satisfaction survey after the work is completed. In the event of a cancelled request, we may call you to enquire about your reasons for cancelling.
Your name, phone number and vehicle information will be shared with us and/or our marketing platforms and we may ask you where you heard about YumCars® in order to gauge our marketing strategies.
Any charges from your phone provider as a result of a telephone call or SMS will not be responsible for by us. All inbound and outbound customer service calls may be recorded for quality assurance.
- Service Guarantee
If there is a probable and clear cause that we did not fulfil the package as ordered, we will offer a refund or redo the uncompleted or unsatisfactory portion of the service.
Cleaning the vehicle personally or professionally after the initial service without authorisation from us voids our Service Guarantee. Refunds or reimbursements will not be made after any unauthorised cleaning or repairs.
Failure to disclose at the time of booking any conditional issues that involve heavy stains, foul odours, human or animal biological waste, mould, mildew, chemical spills, chemical overspray or any other hazardous materials voids our service guarantee. No refunds or any additional work will be performed outside of the original package or estimate.
Some issues may require additional services beyond those you ordered. Refusing the services recommended by us may invalidate the service guarantee.
Only services included in your order and additional services authorised by us are covered under our service guarantee. Any services not authorised by YumCars® are at customer’s own risk.
Payment is due at the completion of your service. Refusal or failure to pay for your service invalidates our service guarantee and any redo services or discounts are at the sole discretion of YumCars®.
Any claims must be filed within 24 hours of the completion of the detail by phone or email. Pictures of the area must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org within 24 hours of the claim being made.
- Governing Law
These Terms and any contractual or non-contractual obligations arising from them or in relation to them shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms (including non-contractual disputes) in the English courts. If, however, you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or Ireland, you can also bring legal proceedings in Scotland, Northern Ireland or Ireland (as relevant).
