Edgeless microfibre is harder to manufacture than you may initially think. To perform the edgeless design, the cutting laser can’t be too hot, otherwise the edges become sharp and hard, but when the laser isn’t quite hot enough, the edges don’t quite bond. Finding the perfect spot on every towel is impossible when having them produced in the thousands at a time. This process leaves us with some towels with an uneven shape or some with frayed edges. Whilst the shape and edges aren’t quite perfect, these towels are still a gem and can be put to good long use.

Product Details

This is what we consider the perfect safe towel for the removal of compound and polish. This towel has a short nap construction which effectively slices through sticky product extremely well leave behind perfect paint. It is also perfect for pairing up with the removal of our dedicated Glass Sealant, Glass✚.

The short fibre design is soft and absorbent and will pick up dirt easily and effectively.

Polishes and compounds tend to have a sticky, grabby nature to them which often causes the user to apply more pressure to paint and in turn this causes extra damage. The plusher microfibre towels aren’t best suited to the removal of these kinds of product types, as it can cause the fibres to stick to them rather than slice straight through.

This towel is the same consistency as our Interior Towel, but by having a different colour scheme, we can now dedicate this towel especially to the paint, to ensure that you do not get your towels mixed up and potentially contaminate them. The last thing you want to do is to try and clean your glass or interior with the same towel that has been used for polish.

Care Instructions

Like with anything new, we recommend to wash all microfibre towels straight out of the packet as they have been handled during the manufacturing and packaging process.
Always wash with the same towel colours – Colours can always run, especially when new.
Wash with the same towel groups to prevent contamination.
Wash using the YumCars Wash MF, a dedicated Microfibre Wash, to keep your towels lasting longer.
Wash no higher than 40°C.
Air dry or tumble dry on a low heat setting.
Place on a cool spin once dry to revitalise the fibres.
