Delivery costs are confirmed at checkout and are calculated based on the weight of the items in your basket and the provided delivery address. We use a weight-based system to calculate shipping costs worldwide, outside of the UK. For UK mainland shipping, we offer a flat rate shipping charge and free shipping over £100.00.
Sales Events
Please note that during sales events, such as Black Friday, where large discounts are given, shipping will be charged to all customers at a flat rate. During sales events, please allow extra time for orders to be dispatched and delivered.
We only offer an express 24-48 hour delivery as part of our service, which is the fastest form of shipping which you have paid extra towards as part of the service performed by us. All UK mainland parcels will be send using the courier DPD. All orders sent using this express service are tracked and all customers will be notified of the expected delivery from DPD by email and/or the mobile number provided at checkout. A working day is classed as a Monday-Friday, and excludes bank holidays and weekends. Please note: Any order placed after 2pm on a Friday, will be dispatched by us on the following Monday for delivery on Tuesday, unless this includes a bank holiday.Â
Express delivery is a 24-48 hour tracked service and is only eligible to customers based in the UK and orders must be placed by 2pm for the same day dispatch. Express delivery is non-refundable on any goods returned to us. For international orders, a DPD tracked courier service will be used, however, delivery times cannot be guaranteed by us. All international orders are liable for paying for their own customs duties and taxes to their government prior to the release of goods.
You will receive an estimation time/date for delivery via SMS and/or email, and our courier we will endeavour to deliver any products ordered within the estimated period. A time slot will be sent to you by DPD when delivery is expected that day. Your name, address, email and contact number will be provided to our courier for the delivery service and it will be visible on the parcel label if it has been provided at checkout. It is your responsibility to choose or update your preferences for the delivery if you will not be in at the specified time/date. If a ‘safe place’ is selected by you for the courier, and the parcel has been delivered to your specified safe place, in the event of a missing parcel, the courier, nor YumCars will not hold any responsibility for the loss of goods.
Delivery may be delayed due to circumstances outside of our control. If this occurs, our courier will notify you as soon as possible and take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. YumCars shall have no liability for courier delays as this is out of out control.
In the event of a sale or event, due to extreme volume, dispatch of goods maybe delayed by us, however, we will always endeavour to process all orders as quickly as possible and we will dispatch all goods using an express delivery service.
In the event of a failed delivery to you, our courier may re-attempt delivery, leave your delivery with a neighbour or in a safe place outside of your home or leave you a card or contact you to re-arrange delivery. You will be responsible for the products from the time we dispatch the products to you at the stipulated delivery address. You will own a product once we have received payment in full for that product. Any charges as a result of any failed deliveries that have incurred, or due to any package being returned to us will be your responsibility and any return charges to YumCars will be deducted from your payment.
Shipping charges will not be refunded by YumCars for any returned parcel, for whatever reason, for performing an express delivery service.Â
We will be happy to replace for free of charge, any goods damaged in transit provided that we receive written notification of such damage within 48 hours of delivery. Goods received in a damaged or unsatisfactory condition must be returned to us at the customers expense for inspection after contacting us first.Â
If you have placed an order with YumCars from outside of the UK, all parcels Delivered Duty unpaid. Customs officials will contact the recipient for payment if there is any duty owed, and this will need to be paid before the parcel is released. Parcels will be held by customs until payments are made. Any payments not received may result in parcels being returned or in some cases destroyed.
You will not be charged any UK VAT on the sale and it will be deducted automatically at the checkout. Your parcel will not be exempt from EU VAT upon delivery at your destination. The VAT rate is different for each country within Europe, so it’s important to check the customs website for the country you’re shipping to before you make a purchase.
Products shipped outside of mainland UK may be also subject to taxes, customs duties, and fees charged by the authorities of the country of importation (“Import Fees”). All additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient prior to the delivery of goods. Orders shipped into the United States may be subject to additional US state and local sales taxes.
Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering on YumCars for international delivery, you’re considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you’re receiving the goods.
For all products shipped internationally, please note that:
Refusal to pay any customs charges due or refusal of a delivery or a change of mind will result in the package being shipped back to YumCars at an additional charge by the courier which will be charged to the consignee.
Customs penalties, storage charges, or other expenses incurred as a result of an action by failure by the consignee to provide any documentation or pay any charges due, resulting in the return or destruction of a parcel will be charged to the consignee along with any applicable duty or tax. Additional charges may be applied for complex clearance and returns procedures.
All goods will be checked for damage upon return, following which a refund will be issued for the goods, minus any shipping charges, expenses and penalties incurred.
Some countries will not export rejected packages back to the originating country; in that case, the package will be destroyed and no refund will be issued to the consignee.
If you had a change of mind, you can cancel your order at any time that same day before 2pm and a full refund will be given, including any shipping charges. If a cancellation is made after 2pm, and the parcel has already been dispatched with our courier, the parcel must be returned to us at the customers expense and the original express delivery charge is not refundable as it is part of the service that we have performed for you at an extra charge.
If a parcel is returned to us by the courier as a result of providing the incorrect delivery details, or failing to collect a parcel from a selected drop off location, all charges incurred to us by the courier will be deducted from the order, along with the original delivery charge.
If for whatever reason you are not satisfied with our items, you can return them for a full refund, minus the express delivery charge within 14 days of delivery, if they have not been used, tampered with or damaged. Once returned, all items will be inspected by us before any refund is processed. You must contact us prior to returning any items back to us.

Please note that you are responsible for the costs of returning any items back to YumCars. If you choose for us to arrange for them to be collected and/or shipped, the return shipping charge can vary between £7.00 and £20.00 for small parcel courier services and from £20.00 and £50.00 for large parcel courier services. This return delivery charge will be deducted directly from your refund.

If your order arrives damaged or defective, we can replace these items or parts at no cost or offer store credit. A photograph of the damaged box upon delivery, with the shipping label in view must be taken at the point of delivery, and delivery is to be refused by the customer in order to make a claim with our courier. Simply contact us to let us to let us know within 48 hours of receiving/refusing your order. We will ask you to send us a picture of the damaged box/items for own inspection and records.
We will refund the item’s price and the return shipping cost will automatically be deducted. You can choose between two refund methods.
1) Receive a refund as Store Credit.
After we receive the item(s) back from you, we’ll credit your YumCars® account within 1 business day.
2) Receive a refund to your original payment method, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
We’ll process your refund within 3-5 business days after we receive the item(s) back.
